DJ Monitor is a company which is focussed on audio recognition in favor of artist royalties.

They record events and festivals in Holland, so they can create a playlist of what’s played afterwards. These playlists then get send to BUMA (the organization responsible for artist royalties in Holland), who then pays the artists for the use of their music.

Not only events are monitored, also several online radio stations and broadcasting channels are monitored.

For DJ Monitor we’re active in gathering content (from labels/artists) and talking to several involved organizations.
